Dear ANMS families,
Our commitment to our students and faculty is unwavering. Through creativity, we are addressing your music education continuity.
As schools, local businesses, and more begin to close, to the best of our abilities, we want to help our students and faculty continue the progress made during lessons this year.

Private Lessons:
ANMS will work to offer a flexible semester for faculty and students who have availability. When possible, lessons can be scheduled during April Break, extended Saturday and Sunday times (TBD), and through the month of June.
Many of the ANMS faculty have the capability and are enthusiastic about tailoring the curriculum to continue their student’s musical journey through distance learning on video conferencing and teaching tool Google Meet.
Parents/guardians of students 18 or under and faculty will digitally sign a waiver and understating of the Online Distance Video Lessons Policies.
Group Classes and Ensembles:
Group classes and ensembles are on hiatus and we are working with faculty to adapt courses for online learning where possible..
Some classes will have the academic calendar adjusted where possible to fit in all sessions.
We know adjusting schedules and moving to remote instruction will be a challenge. We are grateful for your patience and understanding as your dedicated faculty begin to contact you individually to make a plan that works for you.
If you and your instructor choose to move forward with distance-learning, we are here to lend our support. Many of the students and faculty are very familiar with learning online, others may take time to determine how to best to teach and learn. We know our student musicians of all ages will make the most of this new and imaginative learning experience.
We want to thank the students, parents, and faculty who have called and messaged with outstanding ideas and support as we come together as a community to support one another through music education, and make the most of it. We are all in this together.
We promise you the ANMS Registration Team and Board of Trustees are working hard to make the best decisions we can given the uncertainties in the developing situation.
