All Newton Music School is one of the oldest community music schools in the entire nation. Founded as a Settlement School in 1911, we have evolved into the renowned community music school we are today.
Non-Profit
Tuition covers only 80% of an ANMS education. We are a non-profit and are able keep tuition down thanks to the support of hundreds in our community.
Live Music
Each month there are several free and low-cost live concerts representing every genre of music. Many of our faculty members play, allowing you the opportunity to see your instructor as a performing artist.
