Dear Students, Families, and Faculty,

Thank you all for your continued dedication to making music an important part of your lives. Having finished our Spring semester at All Newton Music School we are thrilled hundreds of students have extended the learning season to include music lessons throughout the summer!

As we continue to care for our community and those we love, it is clear the true power music-making and education has on all our lives.

We applaud your achievements while navigating new learning platforms and ways of music education. Your enthusiasm has made a positive impact on the success of all ANMS students and teachers. Looking ahead towards the Fall, we have made exceptional efforts to secure a safe beginning for the new school year.

ANMS will continue online teaching through September. School-aged students' lessons will continue to be scheduled as if they were in school full-time. This allows for a seamless transition from virtual to in-person lessons and classes when schools are fully opened and our students are back to their typical school day schedules.

To support families who are adversely affected by COVID-19, ANMS is planning to expand available financial aid. Our goal is to continue to provide access to an All Newton Music School education for all of our currently enrolled students as well as new students. We understand that these are difficult times and are committed to doing our very best to help families who may be adversely impacted by these circumstances. If your family is experiencing financial difficulty, we invite you to apply to our Tuition Assistance Program.

To support our students' musical journey beyond their private lessons, we are creating a new and engaging virtual student recitals platform where students may submit recorded performances that will be shared online.

The meaning of ‘community’ at ANMS has taken on a new form, and it is exciting to see how our musical connections are flourishing in the most extraordinary of times.

As the health and public safety situation evolves we will be providing detailed updates on our return to campus.
