Music in May 2018 Recap and Gallery
Each May, for thirty-five years, All Newton Music School celebrates our students' achievements and our teachers' dedication with a daylong festival of music.
On Saturday, May 19th, our tradition continued with over 450 performers and 2,000 guests enjoying recitals, xylophone bands, Chestnut Orchestra, outdoor fiddling, chamber music, musical theater performances and the rock bands closing out the afternoon.
At noon, ANMS held the Emerging Artists Award Ceremony to recognize the hard work of each student in the Emerging Artists program. Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller presented the awards and recognized the efforts, beyond the private lesson studio, of each student.
Every performer deserves a huge 'Bravo!' as well as the faculty who donate their time, demonstrating how devoted and generous they are.
The staff: Naomi, Michelle, and Evan along with the Board, Members of the Corporation, Board Emeritus, and volunteers worked enthusiastically to assure the day went smoothly.
A huge thanks to our sponsors, Appleton Partners Inc. and Cambridge Savings Bank for believing in our mission, Music for All, and supporting this celebratory day!
