Suzuki Book One & Two

Ages: 4.5 to 8 Years with a Grown-Up

This course builds the fundamentals of bow-hold, violin-hold, and ear-training, in addition to learning music found in Suzuki Book One. Our Suzuki Violin program consists of weekly individual private lessons and weekly group classes. Caregivers are an essential part of the Suzuki Methodology and because of this, we will have parent education sessions for the first four weeks during the Beginners’ Group Class time. In these sessions, adults will learn the philosophy of the Suzuki method, what makes it different from other methodologies, the parent’s role, and how to practice. There will be a Zoom option for those unable to attend with their child. Please note that the weekly lessons are scheduled with the instructor.
